Surf The Wall- Harry Hoffman

My Public Art Proposal is that some of the empty wall space around the campus could also be taken up with meaningless, fun iamges! I really like the idea of putting images on walls that represent the areas they are in but I also feel it is nice to have some that are just fun to look at too. Oceanside has a lot of people who enjoy surfing and I know they would enjoy this image. It is a simple photo on a simple wall and puts the viewer on the beach for just a moment.

  2. I think it's nice to see a relaxing image in a place that can sometimes be very stressful! A lot of people who go to this school live a laid back California lifestyle and I think it works really well. -Jessica Fuller

  3. Nice picture, I also like how you blended it with the wall and the tree shadow. Might make me leave campus and head to the beach immediately though!

  5. The Layer Mode you used really turned out well for this. The shadows you can still see that the shadows run across the building. -John Boyd
